Ms. Eris Hysi joined Haxhia & Hajdari Attorneys at Law in 2001 and has been a licensed member of the Albanian Bar Association since 2002. She holds a law degree from the University of Tirana, an LLM in European Business Law, and a PhD in Law from La Sapienza University in Rome, where she completed her doctoral research on “Criminal Offenses in Bankruptcy Law – A Comparative View between Italian and Albanian Legislation” in 2022.

With over two decades of experience, Ms. Hysi specializes in corporate law, banking and financial law, mergers and acquisitions, privatization, tax law, construction law, competition law, intellectual property, and real estate law. Her expertise is further highlighted by her appointment to the ICSID panel of Conciliators and Arbitrators from 2011 to 2017. She has also served on the Supervisory Board of Fondi Besa and the Board of Directors of the Albanian Foundation for the Development of Local Capacity.

Fluent in Albanian, English, and Italian, Ms. Hysi handles complex legal matters with a meticulous and client-focused approach. In addition to her legal practice, she lectures on Business Law and International Arbitration at Luarasi University and Commercial Law at the School of Advocacy.
